Notary Services

At Sharplink Services, we are here to help you with fast and efficient remote notary services. Online notarizing is affordable, simple, secure, and available when you need it.

Submitting your documents is easy. You can upload them from your computer or a mobile device like a tablet or smartphone. In addition to your documents, the notary needs to see a valid government-issued photo ID and your social security number.

We can notarize documents for several signers at a time. The process takes an extra few minutes because each person will have to reload the notarized document and then resign and notarize. The notary can help take you step-by-step through the process.

Conferencing with your live notary public is easy, too. You need a device with audio and video capabilities. Once your documents are uploaded, they video conference with you. Plus, we use three-factor identification to help prevent fraud. Our record-keeping establishes an audit trail, which can help you establish the validity of your documents.

The best part of online notary services is the availability. We have notaries available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Plus, we have streamlined the process. It takes just minutes to get your documents notarized.

Not every document can be notarized online. While most can, there are some exceptions. If you are not sure whether online notarization will work, check with the document recipients beforehand.

One of the significant exceptions to online notary services is international usage. The requirements for online notarization of documents intended for use in another country vary by state. Typically, an apostille from the notary’s commissioning state is needed to authenticate these documents for international use. However, most states have not established a process for issuing apostilles for electronically notarized documents. Additionally, using the platform for these documents may involve compliance with various laws, including foreign data privacy laws, which the platform is not designed to address.

Since we cannot guarantee connection with a notary from a state that issues apostilles for these documents or ensure that the notarization will meet the necessary legal requirements, we recommend bringing your document to a traditional notary to complete your notarization.
